Are you highly articulate with the ability to take on the ideas of others? Do you have experience in the fields of communications and marketing? If this sounds like you, YWT are seeking to appoint a Communications and Marketing Manager to head up its energetic and creative Communications Team. Communications and Marketing Manager Ref: 17.6.60 Location: York Salary: £32,000 p.a. plus up to 9% employer pension contribution The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated, inspiring and effective communications and marketing strategy to support organisational objectives including inspiring people to take action for wildlife. The post-holder will be required to oversee all internal and external communications and marketing activity, working in collaboration with internal colleagues and The Wildlife Trusts to achieve consistency in messaging and brand in order to enhance and strengthen brand recognition and support for YWT. To be successful in this role you will need a proven track record of delivering high quality, effective communications strategies with the ability to lead campaigns from insight through to execution with clear results.  You will also need significant experience of media relations and have a good understanding of digital and direct marketing techniques. To be our perfect candidate you will have excellent written communication and presentation skills, the ability to creatively distil complex topics into engaging and inspiring content and messaging and be highly competent in use the of Windows/Microsoft Office-based computing skills.
