GET INVOLVED: Farmers across the country pledge their support for #Farm24

Grassroot farmers across the country are getting involved with #Farm24 and pledging their support for British farming.

The biggest event of the agricultural calendar is fast approaching as the countdown to ‘24 Hours in Farming’ is on.

 

During the lead up to the non-stop 24 hours of British farming celebrations, many grassroot farmers across the country have been taking part and demonstrating their support for this year’s event on August 8, 2019.

Lots of grassroot farmers are using a variety of different social media platforms to pledge their support for all the wonderful work our British farmers do to feed our nation.

 

From tweeting, sharing, liking and posting their comments and photos of all things British farming is providing the stepping stone to make this year’s event even BIGGER and BETTER than last year.

 

With a record 114.2 million twitter impressions in 2018, lets aim to make 2019 24 Hours in Farming event bigger than ever before and really show that we back British farming!

 

Farmers, girl guiders and many more, have been spotted showing off their support at the Royal Lancashire Agricultural show, as they proudly hold their 24 Hours in Farming poster to pledge their support for British farming.

Whether you’re from a farming or non-farming background you can do your bit to support British farmers and join in a social media marathon.

 

By using the #Farm24 to share your thoughts and photos of British food and farming. You can also commit to taking part by signing up on the website or download a free 24 Hours in Farming poster and send in a snap of you pledging your support for our British agricultural industry.

How to get involved with 24 Hours in Farming

FARMERS across the UK are pledging their support for this year’s 24 Hours in Farming. You can take part on any social media platform including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, from 5am on Thursday, August 8.

 

Simply tag your post #Farm24 and include @FarmersGuardian and @Morrisons.

 

We want to know about your typical working day and any other activities you might be involved in, such as hosting farm visits, meeting fellow farmers or professionals, attending meetings or adopting new strategies on-farm.

 

Throughout the day, FG will be encouraging engagement by commenting, sharing and collating posts into stories throughout the whole event.
