Your role will be to generate business by making effective sales presentations to new and existing customers across our portfolio of products which also includes subscription sales and sponsorship opportunities.

In October 2014 Briefing Media acquired Agrimoney, a specialist finance site for the international agribusiness industry. Agrimoney is a community-based news and analysis business with c. 70,000 unique users per month and an extensive platform of engagement across e-mail and social media platforms.
The Agrimoney business serves agriculture and food companies; farm suppliers; commodity traders; land investors and fertiliser/ agrichemical producers.
To research and develop a significant events arm for the agribusiness community around the Agrimoney brand. You will work closely with a small but dedicated team of analysts, marketers, sales and operations staff to launch Briefing Media’s events activities in this dynamic sector.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years commercial B2B event production experience in conferences or summits and now be looking to take the next step in their career. They will relish the challenge of building new events in an entrepreneurial environment built around a quality, content-led portfolio. They will be ambitious; used to working to the highest of standards and interested in building both their personal reputation and Briefing Media’s.
They will be intelligent, have a high level of commercial awareness and be target and deadline driven. We’re not looking for a ‘churn and burn’ approach to events. The developing portfolio is likely to feature a small number of large-scale meetings that have ambitions to be the key learning & meeting points in the industry calendar.
To succeed in this position you will require excellent influencing skills and the ability to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of passionate sector experts.

As part of its expansion and aiming to serve farmers’ information needs even better, Briefing Media Agriculture is looking for a machinery and farm IT specialist to join its award-winning editorial team.
Based in our Preston, Lancashire HQ, we’re seeking an enthusiastic, motivated team player to write across Farmers Guardian, Arable Farming, Dairy Farmer and our website,www.fginsight.com. We also run Lamma show, CropTec and the British Farming Awards.
Activities within the role of machinery and farm IT specialist will include reporting from major machinery launches and events, keeping up to date with the latest kit and technology, carrying out machinery and equipment evaluations, and interviewing end users of equipment.
With a large portfolio of titles operating across multiple media platforms including print, online and social media, successful candidates can expect an exciting and varied workload.
Previous journalistic experience isn't essential; we are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated team players with a deep-rooted interest in the farming machinery sector – someone who is as keen to be out on farm as they are to be interviewing leading figures.
You'll need an aptitude for writing, and you will need to be flexible in terms of your working day/week, as well as being prepared to travel. You will also need a full driving licence, and the ideal candidate will be confident operating farm machinery. The position is ideally suited to someone seeking their first job in agricultural journalism.
