Our prestigious Automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire is looking for a highly skilled and experienced ADAS Software Coordinator to work within our Clients ever expanding Electrical Engineering department on a full time basis. The role of ADAS Software Coordination is based within the ADAS Systems and Subsystems Engineering group in Electrical Engineering. The ADAS Systems & Subsystems group is responsible to complete all the system engineering deliverables required to design and deliver driver assistance features based on video, radar and ultrasonic technologies such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic High Beam control, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Rear View, Junction View, Cross Traffic Alert, 360 degree Plan View, Lane Change Merge Aid, Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Highway Assist This is a brilliant opportunity for the chosen candidate to work in a very modern and luxurious working environment. The successful ADAS Software Coordinator will be working a 40 hour week with access to onsite parking. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the design, development, testing of Software into the DADC Operating in a cross-functional organisation, you will directly report into the Project Manager and where delivering on specific vehicle programmes have an additional matrix report into Module Leaders Delivering the commodity plan to QCT Releasing Process Legal regulations and RMDV requirements Management of the design responsible supplier teams in support of delivery of the programme milestones Keeping all Module documentation up to date including: Meeting minutes Foundation & Programme SW FMAs Quality history & Bill of SW design Manage Change Request and expenditure forecasting Resolve issues with component engineering and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs that meet targets Ensure all appropriate internal standards are met through-out design maturation Provide input into new feature development Manage and resolve issues, escalating where required Key Skills Required for Submission: Project / programme management Requirements Management System Engineering Skills Required: Understanding of SW Integration and Processes from previous experience Understanding of SW partitioning integration into a WERS Understanding of Quality methods, Failure Mode Avoidance and robustness Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self- confidence and a 'passion for the product' Ability to deliver with minimum supervision Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment A good working knowledge of product creation and delivery, Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes Experience Required : Previous experience within engineering or programme planning departments Experience Preferred: Previous experience with our client's Product Development standards is desirable Experience with real time control systems design Experience of working with SW Integration and SW Development processes Education Required: Degree Education Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt qualification desirable ============================================================================= Do not miss out on your chance of interview – APPLY NOW!
