Digital Project Executive

£18,000 per annum

The Digital Project Executive role is a new role for the Wiltshire Farm Foods Marketing team but an essential one to support the businesses ambitious ecommerce growth targets.

Reporting to the Digital Revenue Manager, you will assist in the management of on-going development of the Wiltshire Farm Foods ecommerce website to help achieve our business objectives.

The Digital Project Executive will help manage the front-end and back-end development team, agencies, designers and UX teams to deliver a variety of ecommerce developmental projects for the business using Agile methodology.

This role is a key link between business stakeholders, our customers and developers to manage the teams work schedules, project manage the work currently being undertaken and undertake key Agile Product Owner tasks such as managing the product backlog, manage the Sprint and Release planning and maintain reliable and accurate timelines, keeping project stakeholders up to date with changes.

Responsibilities:

Depending on the experience of the applicant, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and managing clear priorities and objectives for the development teams
  • Ensuring development of features are delivered on time and within budget
  • Writing user stories for new features to develop
  • Analysis of data using Google Analytics and Kentico Analytics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensuring the development team have a consistent stream of features to develop
  • Identifying any blockers to progress and facilitating the removal of these blockers to allow development to continue
  • Attending daily team stand ups with the development agency and in-house team
  • Attending Sprint Demos/End Of Sprint Retros & End Of Phase Retros
  • Managing a backlog of development features (user stories) and prioritising these features based on business requirements
  • Carrying out research with customers and prospects
  • Testing of new features across the testing environments, and approving ready for deployment to the live environment
  • Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to identify requirements
  • Producing regular reports to keep key stakeholders up to date on development and key KPIs
  • Reporting to and working closely with the Digital Revenue Manager to agree development priorities for each new phase of development

This role will occasionally require out of hours work to deploy features that require the site to come offline.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of successfully managing ecommerce website development projects
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of using analytics packages such as Google Analytics
  • Experience of analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Desirable:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Certified Product Owner
  • Experience of carrying out quantitative and qualitative research
