Farm Trading Administration Assistant Codford St Mary, Warminster Gleadell are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to provide excellent administrative support to the regional Farm Trading team. This is an interesting and varied role working within a busy environment and there will be the opportunity for career progression for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities * Assisting Farm Traders day to day * answering calls, contract entry, sending out sample results, giving prices for grain/seed/fertiliser. * Entering new accounts and making amendments. * Maintenance of spreadsheets to determine availability/quality and pricing requirements of forward contracts. * Assist with the organsation of samplers and their workloads during harvest including vans and equipment. * Contacting farmers to create leads for Farm Traders. * Data input on bespoke IT systems. * Assisting the Farm Trading desk with campaigns, providing relevant information in an accurate and timely manner. * To carry out grain sampling duties on farm using a company pool vehicle.
The successful applicant will be hard-working, efficient and organised who can work as part of a team. Excellent IT and customer service skills are an essential part of the role as is the ability to produce accurate work and use own initiative. A full valid driving licence is a necessity. An agricultural background is preferred but not essential.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30 -17.30 with one hour for lunch. A competitive package and industry leading benefits will be offered to the successful candidate. Salary will depend upon experience
