An exciting opportunity has become available for an Agricultural Insurance Manager to join an established, reputable, independent Insurance broker. They are looking for a Commercial Insurance professional to come in and oversee the Farm and Combined business, supervise, manage and coach the team along with assisting in the development of the account and supporting the Managing Director.
Duties:- Oversee and maintain the current Farm Accounts Attending seminars and networking events. Provide assistance on Agricultural claims to members of the team as required along with liaising with insurers and loss adjusters Negotiation and presentation to insurers in order to secure most appropriate cover for the client Closing the sale, ensuring cover is on risk and cross selling business and referrals Undertake sales activities ensuring delivery of sales and marketing targets; Working under minimal supervision and be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets; Identify and deliver appropriate marketing campaigns; Visiting clients for new business and renewals; Negotiating new and renewal premiums with clients. Providing data for management reports when required Working closely with other members of commercial team/company to ensure smooth running of the department/company
Client facing experience essential; Computer literate; Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market; Good product and technical knowledge; Ability to work in a team/team player; Excellent communication, time management, negotiation, presentation and relationship building skills; Account management skills.
