Our client, a Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy who work alongside a diverse range of business to provide them with integrated solutions across a magnitude of sectors. As the company continues to grow they are now seeking a Bat Ecologist to join their expanding team based out of Avon, servicing clients in the public and private sector. The successful ecologist will meet the following requirements: A relevant degree Be a licensed worker able to define and implement survey requirements and provide detailed advice on bat ecology Professional consultancy skills as well as solid field and identification skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Be able to deliver projects and complete work to a high standard Extended phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species survey experience Experience of protected species licensing process and ideally hold one or more protected species licence(s) Ecological Impact Assessment and/or ecological mitigation projects knowledge Knowledge of UK & European wildlife legislation Excellent report writing and GIS skills Proven project management experience including scoping, estimating and tendering for work Experience managing and liaising with landowners and clients In return, the company are offering an excellent remuneration package commensurate with experience.
