Global Panel Project Finance and Administration Manager London International Development Centre Salary:  £38,533 to £40,380 per annum, inclusive.  Closing Date:  Friday 20 July 2018 Reference:  LIDC-LIDC-2018-05 The Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition is seeking a Project Manager (Admin and Finance) to be part of a Secretariat team supporting the Global Panel, which comprises a small group of influential, independent experts who have a commitment to tackling global challenges in food and nutrition security. The Panel is co-chaired by Prof Sir John Beddington, former UK Chief Scientific Adviser, and H.E. John Kufuor, former President of Ghana. It is hosted by the London International Development Centre (LIDC). The Project Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the programme including human resources, financial administration and line management of the Office Assistant. He or she will have experience in running a small but broadly-linked office and organising high-level meetings and events within an international and academic or government/NGO environment; advanced working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, Management Information Systems and software relevant to grant management; strong relationship management skills and ability to get on as part of a team and with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders. This post will require excellent communication, administration and organisational skills, as it will involve working with a diverse group of senior stakeholders in a highly international environment. Further particulars are included in the job description. This role will be line managed by the Global Panel Deputy Director. This is a full time post and starting salary will be for a grade 6 position, £38,533 - £40,380 inclusive per annum, with an expectation that the successful candidate would start at the lower spine point.
