Landowner Liaison Officer Field-based

Landowner Liaison Officer - Stockton (field-based)
£10.93 an hour
Temporary Full-Time until Sept 2018 with possibility of extension.

Our client, an electricity distribution company based in Stockton are looking to recruit a Landowner Liaison Officer who will be responsible for completing new legal agreements; dealing with property queries, and managing existing records and consents. This is a temporary position until the end of September with the possibility of an extension.

The role serves both internal and external customers and responds to multiple enquiries each day. The enquiries relate to land & property issues arising from their 60,000+ grantors, solicitors, and external agencies.

Please note this position sits been Clerical Assistants and an existing Liaison Officer. The role require someone who is happy to work out in the field approximately 3 days per week.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The Landowner Liaison Officer will complete low complexity customer facing work (miscellaneous) such as grantor/property changes, payment re-assessments, substation access reviews, boundary & tenure enquiries, simple damage claims and access arrangements for maintenance which require a site visit.

Key requirements of the role:
- Full clean driving license with access to own vehicle
- Face to face customer service
- Personable, presentable with a good attitude
- Good spoken & written communication skills
- Customer focused
- Planning & organizing to a high level
- Team Working
- At least 5 GCSE's Grade A-C
- Excellent IT skills

Desirable Requirements
- Legal background
- Experience of the legal system and our statutory background
- Previous experience of negotiations
- Previous property experience
- Interest and/or appreciation of agriculture & environmental issues

The hours of work will be between 8:30am and 5pm (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday. The company offer free onsite parking.
