About the role
They are a busy commercial food microbiology lab and are looking for a Team Leader to join their site management team.
They are looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic Team Leader, ideally with knowledge of food testing in compliance with ISO17025. You will work with a team of up to 12 people, overseeing and assuring the quality, speed, efficiency and accuracy of their work. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of sample preparation and test set up as well as maintaining a high standard of GLP and housekeeping.

The shift pattern for this role is 'four days on-four days’ off with the total working hours averaging 37.5 per week. Some additional overtime may be necessary during busy periods.
