We are seeking a Research Technician for a fixed term contract until May 2019 to provide technical support to projects aiming at investigating rumen metabolism and microbiology.
You will assist in research projects within the herbivore gut ecosystems research group. The post is funded initially until May 2019 and will be predominantly based at our King Buildings centre. The post holder’s main responsibility will be to assist with the preparation and analysis of samples from on-going experiments. This will include:
You should possess a relevant undergraduate qualification with proven experience in a similar role. A postgraduate qualification (e.g. degree in microbiology or closely related field) would be preferred.
