Brexit Prep Tip Of The Week

Prepare for Making Tax Digital to help with Brexit uncertainty

The deadline for the first phase of the Government’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirement is an opportunity for farmers to manage their businesses more professionally in the face of uncertainty.

Why would you wait until you are forced to change rather than getting ahead of the game?

The time is nigh to get ahead. MTD is one thing, but business uncertainty is just as big a threat. It is a good chance to get your house in order.

MTD should stop people having to complete a lengthy tax return as they can use software to keep track of their everyday business.

The data can then be used to get up-to-date financial figures, helping businesses to benchmark and model scenarios for their business.
