I am currently looking to recruit an Animal Care Assessor / Trainer to join a Grade 1 training provider delivering Animal Care Apprenticeships up to level 3 in South and West Wales.
The ideal Assessor with have worked delivering all areas of Animal Care and have a real passion for quality in their work. If you want to join a leading training establishment who offer quality, time and CPD to all their staff and learners alike then this is the role for you!
The Assessor will be delivering full apprenticeship framework and standalone qualifications in a range of pathways including Dog Grooming, Dog Handling, Pet Care and Retail, Animal Handling and Welfare and Zoo/Wildlife. In return for this you will receive an excellent package;
• £22,000 - £28,000 per annum dependant on experience • £3,000 per annum car allowance • 23 Holidays + Stats and your birthday off • Mobile phone, laptop and printer
As an Animal Care Tutor your Main Duties will include: • Build strong professional relationships with the client’s business areas and the employers to support the effective delivery and ongoing development of the programme. • Maintain accurate reports and learner records. • To provide learners with impartial information, advice and guidance to help them make informed decision to help achieve their goals. • Liaise with the Professional Bodies to ensure compliance and quality with all their requirements • Constantly look for ways to improve the delivery of teaching and learning • Provide coaching to apprentices to help them translate their learning and development into workplace competence • Track apprentice performance against their individual learner journey and agree remedial action with line managers and the business where required • Take the appropriate action to ensure the programme continuously out performs key performance indicators
Experience/Skills/Attributes: • Candidates will have either D32 / D33 / A1 / TAQA • Desirable teaching qualification CTLLs / DTLLs / CERT ED / PGCE • Relevant Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in main aim subject area • The ability to work independently • Passionate about the Learner Journey • Good time management skills • Committed to help learners achieve their potential
