Full Time (working 37 hours per week for 39 weeks per academic year. You will be paid extra weeks to reflect holiday entitlement of 5 weeks plus 1.6 weeks’ bank holiday entitlement. This salary is divided into equally monthly payments and paid over the whole year until the end of August. £18,618.00 per annum is the full time equivalent salary, which would be for working 37 hours per week for 52.143 weeks per year)

Working closely with Lecturers and Managers you will support students in the classroom, workshop or on a one-to-one or group basis contributing to the attainment of their individual learning goals. You will also assist by helping the students develop their assignment completion skills and target meeting skills.
Educated to GCSE or equivalent in both Maths and English, you will be experienced in supporting students in a Further Education environment; empowering and motivating them on a range of courses including Maths and English qualifications. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to work with a range of abilities and learning needs and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be capable of working with minimal supervision. You will be a team player possessing good literacy and numeracy skills with a drive and desire to help people to succeed.
