Customer Requirements Engineer

£22.50 per hour Ltd Co.

Warwickshire, United Kingdom

Our prestigious Automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Customer Requirements Engineer to work within our Clients ever expanding business office department on a full time basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for the chosen candidate to work in a very modern and luxurious working environment. The successful Customer Requirements Engineer will be working a 40 hour week with access to onsite parking.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the definition of Customer Requirements for new technologies through collation of VoC data and application of the Kano tool
  • Analysing customer feedback through external/internal data from a variety of source including JD Power APEAL, Customer Surveys / Clinics
  • Competitor Benchmarking, Parallel industries Benchmarking (e.g: consumer electronic products..)
  • Deliver Failure Mode Avoidance activities for new Features and ensure that all resulting gaps from the FMA activities are captured in the customer requirements
  • Maintain and improve QVoC FMA documentation: processes, LWI, templates
  • Develop coaching capabilities within QVOC for the writing of the customer requirements for the new features
Key Skills Required for Submission:
  1. Strong project management experience and good written and verbal communication skills
  2. Ability to work within cross-functional teams
  3. Educated to degree level

Skills Required:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • To be confident to report to all levels within the organisation and be a proactive team player, happy to be hands on and build cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrate a passion for automotive industry and new technologies
  • Highly disciplined and tenacious to follow open issues through to closure
  • Ability to balance and manage multiple work streams
Experience Required:
  • Strong project management experience
  • Previous experience within Marketing or Research departments with good working knowledge of Product Delivery System (or similar process)
  • Failure Mode Avoidance tools application knowledge and experience
Experience Preferred:
  • Systems Engineering Knowledge/experience
Education Required:
  • Educated to degree level
Additional Information:
  • 6 month rolling contract
