JUNIOR PROJECT HSE ENGINEER (WIND FARM) – PERMANENT – SURREY

Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Junior Project HSE Engineer (Wind Farm) to work in their offices in Surrey on a Permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity with one of the largest turnkey E & C Companies within the Oil and Gas industry. Our Client is also a leader in the supply of engineering, procurement and construction services with distinctive capabilities in the design and execution of large-scale offshore projects.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Should have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience required in Offshore Wind Projects. This is Essential.
  • Project HSE Engineer with technical experience in an HS&E advisory role covering complex offshore construction activities, preferably pipelay or heavy lift

Client would also consider a Graduate with a relevant degree in HSE or similar.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development, management and improvement of project HSE management systems throughout the engineering and development phases of the project.
  • Ensuring design, engineering and construction activities are conducted in accordance with Client HSE requirements, Company HSE standards, legislation, and ISO/ OHSAS standards
  • Ensuring Project HSE plans and procedures are developed.
  • Assisting the project team in the Risk Management process (i.e. HAZID, Risk Assessment and HAZOP, etc.).
  • Identify potential emergency scenarios and develop emergency preparedness plans.
  • Plan and conduct HSE audits and reviews toward project team and subcontracted activities.
  • Document project specific environmental aspects/ impacts and related management measures.

SALARY: Negotiable. Please quote what salary you would be looking for when applying.
