An opportunity has now arisen for a materials handling equipment engineer working in the Essex/East London area. The ideal applicant will have a background in forklift trucks, but a mechanical/agricultural background would also be considered. This is a field-based role, with the majority of the time being spent working at customers own sites meaning that a full driving licence is essential. Duties will include; Diagnosing technical issues. Conducting repairs and services as well as general maintenance. Ensuring you have the right parts for repair and servicing. You must be a team player and be able to manage your own workload. Be well organised and present a professional image. Have excellent customer service skills, offering a polite and helpful service. Requirements; Previous experience in a similar role. Full UK Driving Licence. Good problem solving abilities. Mechanical experience. Electrical knowledge. Immediate start dates are available with this position. Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm- although you will need to be flexible. £25,000-£30,000pa depending on experience.
