General Hatchery Night Worker

£9 - £9.19 per hour, Benefits Plus Shift Allowence

Hatchery Opportunity

Working Hours: 10pm – 6am, Sunday - Thursday

Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for an experience Hatchery Operative to join us at our Caynham Hatchery.

This is a standalone Hatchery Operative role, and therefore you will need to be comfortable working on your own. Taking responsibility for the smooth running of our hatchery on our night shift.

As our Hatchery Operative, your duties will include:
  • Assisting in the effective movement transfer of eggs from storage, to incubating machines and hatching machines
  • Ensuring that all equipment is cleaned after use to the required standards, in-line with the companies procedures
  • Ensuring that processes are completed safely and efficiently
  • To work to a high health and safety standard, and to adhere to all bio security guidelines
  • Complete all hatchery records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • To carry out any other tasks relating to the hatcher as the company may reasonably require.
  • To maintain the company welfare policy at all times.
For the right candidate, this is an ideal opportunity to advance your career within our Agriculture Operations. Experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • The ability to work on your own, with no supervision
  • Effective communication skills
  • Motivated, flexible and committed
