Our client, a leading company working within the Renewable Energy & Solar PV sector, currently require an O&M Technician / Solar PV Engineer / Senior Electrician to join their team. You'll be responsible for carrying out operations & maintenance activities on a large ground mount solar PV farm based in Oxfordshire.
As an O&M Technician, you will be responsible for:
In order to be considered for this position, you will need to be an Authorised Person (AP), hold relevant electrical engineering qualifications (apprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ / 17th Edition etc.) as well as have proven experience in a similar O&M Technician or Solar PV Electrician role. Previous experience in the solar PV sector (especially working on ground mount plant) and high voltage (HV) would be very advantageous.
You will be based predominantly at a solar farm in the Oxfordshire area, although you may occasionally be required to travel to other sites in the UK to assist and cover for other engineers. Therefore, you will need to hold a full & valid driving licence.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the Renewable Energy & Solar PV industry! They're offering a competitive salary in the region of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience, plus benefits including call out payments, van (with personal use), fuel card, tools etc.
