WORKING HOURS: Monday - Saturday 07:00hrs - 18:00hrs = 58 hours reducing to 35 hours Per Week as the maintenance Season progresses.
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a public body who deliver water level management activities within the Doncaster area. The are now seeking a Tractor / Excavator Driver to join the team.
THE ROLE: The successful candidate will be required to assist with the day to day operational duties which form part of the overall water level management regime within the drainage district.
Key Responsibilities for the Tractor / Excavator Driver role to include:-
• Seasonal maintenance is an essential part comprising tractor & flail, excavator with weed basket, fuelling of plant and general driving of tractor and trailers • Manual aspects will include clearance of weed screens, strimming pumping station compounds and the daily management / maintenance of plant and machinery • Further requirements include supporting the Boards MEICA team with maintenance of Pumping Stations
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills through verbal, written and electronic media. Additional skills in the maintenance of plant & equipment to include that at Pumping Stations would be a significant desirable attribute, along with a capability and knowledge in the use of IT.
Key experience essential for the role of the Tractor / Excavator Driver:-
• Full UK Driving Licence • Experience using Tractors, Excavators with weedbaskets and Flail Mowers • Live within a commutable distance to Doncaster
