Workshop Technician - £20,000 - £24,000

We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join our workshop team in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be responsible for the fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of construction and horticultural machinery, ensuring a timely resolution to meet customer service expectations. A good working knowledge of small petrol and diesel engines and associated equipment is essential to any individual applying for this position.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Undertake the servicing, repairing and fault diagnostic of engine driven horticultural and construction machinery.
  • Undertake the servicing, repair and fault diagnostic of small petrol and diesel engines.
    Conduct pre-delivery inspection of new equipment.
  • Identify issues and provide repair services on-site, where required.
  • Effectively use on-line parts identification systems.
  • Observe all healthy and safety requirements at all times and ensure that any equipment used is maintained to the required standard.
  • Participate in maintaining and developing positive relationships with colleagues and service users.
  • Support other departments with tasks as required.
  • Attend technical training courses as requested.
