The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a charity and voluntary organisation that supports members of the farming community during difficult times. They have over 400 volunteers located throughout England and Wales. Support for farmers is available through their national helpline which is open every day of the year from 7am-11pm.
FCN recently launched a new online resources hub aimed at helping farmers and their businesses stay strong and resilient. FarmWell will give ready access to a range of vital information from a wide variety of sources. It is free for all to use and has three clear aims:
· To help farmers and agricultural workers develop and keep their farm businesses resilient through changing times
· To help farmers, their families and their staff to become personally and mentally robust, enabling them to manage their personal and business lives more effectively
· To provide ready access to a wide range of support and help to anyone who may need it, including to FCN’s volunteers.
