Chicken Catcher/Class 2 Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for chicken catchers who hold a valid class 2 license to join our catching team in Gloucester.

We are a leading supplier of chicken, turkey and duck products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. We are a fully integrated business controlling the whole product supply chain, which include feed mills, farms, hatcheries and factories with associated transport and logistics functions that employ more than 6000 people.

This role will involve driving your team to various farms to catch chickens in sheds ready for transportation back to the main site in Brackley.

Duties will also involve fork lift driving to prep the sheds ready for the catch and to load onto the lorries ready for transportation.

You will meet at the central hub in Gloucester before driving your team to the farms to start your catch. It is imperative that Health & Safety and legislative standards as well as the security and welfare of the load is maintained at all times.

You will work on a shift rota of either Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday with flexible start times

To be successful in this role you will need to have: Class 2 licence with a valid CPC and digi Flexibility on work hours Ability to work as part of a team Good understanding of animal welfare The ability to be compliant with farm security Previous experience on FLT is desirable but not essential
