The company

You will be working for a traditional business which produces high
quality, organic dairy products which are supplied to wholesalers and
specialist retailers.

The job

The purpose of the Dairy Assistant Manager is to be responsible for
the day to day processing, culturing and packaging of products. This
is a fantastic opportunity as you will play a key role in this
successful enterprise. You will supervise the production lines, ensure
that the product is refrigerated within the specified time frame,
ensuring all products are packaged correctly, effectively hand over
production to the next shift, ensure product quality and paperwork
requirements are met, planning product volumes required, ensure
machinery is cleaned effectively and manage product dispatch ensuring
all orders are met.

Your experience

We are seeking a proactive individual with previous production,
factory floor or related experience most preferably from within food
manufacturing, most ideally within milk and dairy processing. You will
possess a good working knowledge of machinery and processing
protocols, have high attention to detail and be a team player. Food
Hygiene certificate and/or a degree/HND in a food processing
discipline are highly desirable.

The Dairy Assistant Manager job is based in the South West / South
Central region and is paying £23,400 plus overtime (potential earning
of £25-26,000). The shift pattern will be a 2 weekly rotation of
Monday to Friday, 5.30am – 1.30pm and Sunday to Thursday, 1.30pm –
