Factory Operative - Immediate Start

£7.50 per hour

Factory Operative

Monday-Sunday (3-4 days per week)

AM and PM shifts available

£7.83 - £14.40 per hour

My client's company vision is to create the future of dairy making healthy by producing natural dairy products for people around the world. As a continuously developing company they offer a motivated, challenging and modern environment to work in.
They have a team of 19, 000 strong willed passionate individuals who have been the reason behind them being included in the top 5 largest dairy companies in the world.

Their factory in the North London area is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as a production operative. This opportunity is temporary ongoing, offering 2-3 shifts per week and overtime on the weekends with increased pay rates. Pertemps temporary workers have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions when they arise.

Duties:

  • Assisting in the production of dairy products
  • Monitoring machines
  • Tipping containers
  • Maintaining health and safety standards within the factory
  • Ensuring the shop floor is tidy and clear walkways
  • Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
  • Other duties include heavy lifting

An ideal Warehouse Operative will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential. Training will be provided.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable.
  • hard working, positive attitude
  • ability to work with own initiative as well as within a team
  • ability to work in a timely and accurate manner
  • willing to progress within the business and develop through training
