LAMMA is the UK’s largest agricultural trade show, where over 850 exhibitors will host the most extensive array of farm machinery, equipment, and services to be found in one location anywhere in the UK.
An opportunity to join a new team to work as a production assistant, working within a Hatchery. The purpose of the role is to support the Hatchery Manager in general labouring duties, the role will involve carefully handling of eggs, general labouring, cleaning and being responsible for Health and Safety, whilst ensuring animal welfare is upheld at all times.
The tole will suit a candidate that is looking for a permanent opportunity, who has a flexible attitude and is interested in agriculture and is not fazed with livestock.
The site is operated under strict Bio Security, this will mean that all workers will need to shower into the site and out, there can be no cross contamination and a full induction will be given on site.
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 years work experience be over 18 years old and able to get to Boston with transport.
The hours could vary too, some shifts start at 5am however whilst the site is setting up the hours will be between 8am-5pm.
