ABOUT US
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. We want to see a UK rich in native woods and trees, for people and wildlife. The Trust aims to engage and inspire people about woods and trees to help us meet our vision of creating, restoring and protecting woodland.

THE ROLE
Working within the finance team and reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting all procurement related activity across a range of areas. This will include the maintenance of the Trust’s procurement resources, acting as a support on tenders and contract negotiations, and as a point of contact for internal enquiries.

You’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders within the Trust to help them understand and adhere to the procurement process. You’ll administer the review process for new vendor accounts taking into consideration due diligence and collate and prepare all procurement data.

THE CANDIDATE
You’ll have a strong understanding of tender processes and procurement best practice, and previous experience in a similar environment is essential, including the preparation and maintenance of tendering and contract documentation.

You’ll be analytical, numerate and IT literate, with experience of Purchase 2 Pay systems. Flexible, collaborative and a problem solver, you’ll be able to support internal stakeholders in all procurement activity.

Experience of Unit 4 Business World is desirable.
