Competitive Salary

Herefordshire, United Kingdom

A chance has arisen to join a young energetic team in the beautiful county of Herefordshire. The farm was set up around 8 years ago and has progressed year on year since its establishment with housing for over 400 cows, 24:24 parlour (with plans for a 54 point rotary) and excellent machinery.

The farm concentrates on milk from grass with tracks and paddocks allowing stock to graze the entirety of the farm.

We require an individual who is dynamic, career driven and a team player who has good dairy experience, with a proven track record. Ideally the person will have experience of a grass based system however this is not essential.

This is a new position in the team and you will support the current staff and in particular the farm manager/owner. Your role will include, milking, stock work, grass measurement and allocation, calf and youngstock work. Teamwork and communication is vital to the successful running of the farm.

We are offering a very competitive package and also support to progress your career, through participation at discussion groups, training courses and on-site support. A choice of accommodation is on offer and is dependent on the person’s needs.
