We are happy to be working with a market leading Agri-IT company serving the agricultural and rural sector. This company works to deliver computerised and digital solutions to farms, estates and land agents helping with day-to-day activity and organisation. The business is rapidly growing and seeks to take on an area sales manager for the South East.
We are looking for outgoing, self-motivated individuals to add to the sales team to provide support to the agribusiness sector. You will be responsible for account management, new business sales and working with existing clients on training.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a genuine affinity with the agricultural sector as this will add to your credibility and relationship skills with the customer base. Good time management skills and motivation will enable you to plan your day successfully. Good communication skills and a personable demeanour are a must and an understanding of accounting practices and software would be advantageous. You will be comfortable working within a small well supported business and would need to demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision, yet also as a team player. Whilst IT experience is not expected, a good level of computer literacy is required to be successful; experience with property management would be a plus.
