About the role You’ll be working as part of an expanding marketing function which includes proposition, digital, business and partnerships offline and brand. This team is responsible for delivering growth in customer numbers for Good Energy across all channels. We want to build great online and offline experiences that connect and engage with our current and future audiences. We need a passionate Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) Manager to help take Good Energy to the next level. You’ll help to create, design and implement compelling strategies and programmes which provide evidenced value for our domestic, business, FiT, stakeholders, shareholders and future holders. Working closely with our Customer Services and Digital team, you’ll play a critical part in further developing our CRM strategy and implementing plans to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement. You’ll ensure stakeholder engagement in strategy and plans and evidenced performance through clearly tracking output and modifying strategies and plans as required to meet targets. Key areas of responsibility: • Create compelling brand, acquisition and retention campaigns that tell the Good Energy story in a way that is relevant to our target audiences through identified and relevant market data to ensure informed output. • Help, design, implement and successfully deploy Enterprise CRM within Good Energy with strong stakeholder engagement and alignment to our purpose and values. • Create informed strategies for customer interactions including consumers/prospects, domestic, business, Feed In Tariff (FIT), partnerships and investor relations. • Develop, define and implement retention strategies and find opportunities to cross sell (where appropriate) and build customer loyalty. • Building strong collaborative relationships with digital, supporting the implementation of the new CRM platform system, ensuring it works seamlessly across the organisation and captures all required information at key points in the customer life cycle. About You We’re looking for a talented CRM Manager with a proven track record and significant experience in creating, implementing and managing CRM strategy based on Enterprise CRM. You’ll have extensive direct marketing experience within a B2C environment delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g. offline, print, online) With a customer-first mind set and a drive for delivering outstanding customer experience You’ll be creative and have the ability to translate customer needs and market insight into powerful activity. With a commercial flair, you’ll have experience of delivering customer growth (cost to service, lifetime value), budgeting and selecting and managing external agencies. You’ll have proven project management skills as well as influencing and strong stakeholder management. A relevant Marketing qualification would be a distinct advantage. A background in the UK energy sector is desirable but not essential, however you must be motivated by working for a purpose and values led organisation, with the capability to learn about a complex industry, fast.
