We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events & Marketing Manager to join one of our exclusive clients. Set in secluded woodland our large manor house is one of the best located venues in Derby.
In order to be considered for the role, you will need:
Experience in a similar events & marketing management role
Background working within the hospitality sector
Experience of a multi-functional catering operation
Proven ability to respond positively to a pressurised environment and adopt a positive approach to problem solving
Your main role as the Events and Marketing Manager will be delivering and further developing the Grange Banqueting Suite marketing strategy and events programme.
What the job will involve:
Responsible for the delivery and evolution of the marketing strategy, working with the Board to implement further developments
Actively identify marketing and promotional opportunities, including identifying industry awards to gain further external recognition
Propose a yearly programme of new events and meet sales and event booking targets
Manage all aspects of production, receipt and distribution of marketing and promotional material
Coordinate market research to identify interest and uptake for current and future events
Deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget and within agreed sustainability criteria
Research sector conditions and competitor data to implement marketing plan alterations
Develop and liaise with external suppliers to secure appropriate and good-value services
Organise appropriate sponsorship and co-badging of external events
Maintain and update website content for conferences, events and seminars
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
£25,000 - £27,000 + bonus.
Working hours will vary as you will be expected to attend and offer support at larger events. Some evening / weekend working will be required.
28 days holiday inclusive of statutory.
