LAMMA is the UK’s largest agricultural trade show, where over 850 exhibitors will host the most extensive array of farm machinery, equipment, and services to be found in one location anywhere in the UK.
The International Sales Manager will be based out of London or surrounding area. With a strong focus on delivering commercial opportunities within their region. The role suits ambitious self-starter looking to be customer facing and willing to drive the company?s growth agenda; through active management of the opportunity funnel, a deep understanding of the customer need and proactive key account management.
Accountable for Sales to and relationship management of Customers in the targeted development areas
Plan, monitor and achieve individual sales targets and increase value for existing customers
Conduct negotiations and prepare contracts
Proactively liaise within other functions
Contribute to growth specific projects, spot opportunities and create value
Build good relationships
Create deep understanding of the customer
Solid understanding of competitive environment to facilitate customer discussion
Understand product application
Promote simplification activities
Champion customer focus
Comply with HSSE , Business principals and code of conduct
Share best practices
Manage customer relationships and identify new international business opportunities
Extensive international travel
Confident in contract writing
Ability to analyse and improve processes to the benefit of the sales department
Liaise with R&D to produce the right product based on customer specifics gained at sales meetings
Strong communication skill and ability to build relationships whilst working virtually
Strong preference for an individual with strong business acumen and commercial mind-set
Excellent language skill (English), plus any other languages are advantageous
Strong field sales experience with strong evidence of results delivery. Able to focus on key activities
Resilient, focused and driven
Pro-active and hands on, willing to roll up your sleeves
Strong technical understanding
Expertise in the polymer, plastics or end user markets, such as Packaging, Agricultural, FMCG industry
Degree educated in a relevant field
