Key Account Executive - farmer not hunter

£26,000 per annum

If you enjoy the challenge of developing existing relationships and building new ones, then this could be the exciting opportunity you have been looking for. If you can see yourself visiting clients, relish building face-to-face rapport, and then feel the thrill of closing the sale then you are ideal for this role.

Our Client is a well-established, successful global provider of supply chain solutions to the marine industry. Having a background that understands the technical side of the service provided is essential.

Working with a small friendly team, you should have a great sense of humour, be able to take and give constructive feedback and have the confidence to remain motivated whilst enjoying the challenge of developing customer relationships.

Full in-house training will be provided for the suitable candidate. Applicants must be able to drive.

Essential requirements: The successful Key Account Executive will:

  • Have previous experience in Key Account Management and Business Development
  • Experienced in supply chain, industrial consumables, or an engineering background
  • Have the ability to work to targets
  • Hold regular client meetings
  • Have experience of preparing quotations and reports
  • Liaise with internal partners to progress and facilitate service delivery.

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 plus up to £4,500 bonus

Benefits: Free car parking, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, use of a company van.

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:00pm; Friday - 7:30am to 2:00pm.

This role would suit someone with previous experience as: Account Manager, Account Executive, Key Account Executive, Sales Representative, Sales Executive, Client Relationship Manager.
