A Marketing Account Executive is required at a digitally integrated creative marketing agency.

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join a great agency that is currently working with clients across industries such as Agriculture, Retail, Finance and Education, to name a few.

The Role

The role will include the day-to-day management, development, and implementation of brief and projects across a range of sectors. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects under the guidance from the Account Management Team.

About You

  • A degree in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations (or similar) with a passion to launch your career in the creative industry.
  • You will have already gained some experience in a similar role (at least 1-2 years) preferably within a marketing department or perhaps a creative agency.
  • You are able to undertake desk research, gather inspiration and have a good knowledge of marketing communications.
  • You must be very comfortable dealing with digital and web based projects, as well as motion graphics, content and more traditional marketing requirements.
  • You should be able to generate creative, marketing-led ideas from research or briefs (where required) and be able to turn these into proposals for our clients, with help from the wider team.
  • You are organised, self-driven and possess good administration skills.
  • Ability to hit deadlines and budget restrictions.
  • You are commercially minded with a desire to learn and progress within the creative industry.
  • You should be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Copywriting skills are desirable.

Key Responsibilities

The Account Executive will need to be a friendly, knowledgeable link between the client and the agency ensuring that instructions are relayed to the relevant teams and departments (both agency and client side) via creative briefs and where relevant attend briefing meetings, along with monitoring progress to ensure that each stage of work is delivered on time.

  • Responsible for the structure, content, accuracy and quality of all communications between the agency and the client, monitoring progress and ensuring each stage is delivered.
  • The Account Executive will provide clear, detailed instructions to other departments and check all work such as artwork proofing for detail.
  • Along with the account team, you will be pretty unique in your knowledge and understanding of the appointed account and will need to get under the skin of the day-to-day working relationship with the client.
  • You need to be great at understanding and gaining clear instructions from the client and translating these clearly into creative briefs for internal use.
  • Maintaining regular communication with the client and agency departments to gain further instructions, authorisations or progress reports and to check and feedback on progress of the project or work.
  • A marketing background will help you to produce recommendations and strategies for clients.
  • You will keep up with the latest trends in digital and social for the agency and clients and have some knowledge of social advertising creation, implementation and optimisation (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram).
  • Where appropriate you will identify opportunities for growth within the agency and for clients.
  • You will work closely with the finance department to manage projects budgets and bookkeeping.
  • Help manage & co-ordinate the agency’s email marketing and updating the website content where necessary.

Salary

Competitive, based on experience
Basis: Full-time, Monday to Friday inclusive
