About the Role:
This role will be the company's focal point within the FMCG sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a retail strategy in line with company objectives to deliver profitable and sustainable business. You will have full profit and loss accountability and will be offered the autonomy to get on and get the job done. You will develop JBP's for innovative and added value products within all UK retailers and direct to consumers where appropriate. You will utilise your strong category management skills to differentiate oneself from the other operators within each chosen category.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will be dynamic, innovative and have a can-do attitude. You will have a proven track record across the retail multiples of delivering account growth with profitable and sustainable business. Strong negotiation skills and experience forming JPB's will be critical. You will be able to analyse category data to help the business and customers deliver greater sales volume. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in an account manager role with a focus on innovation and category management. A degree in a relevant topic is also preferred but not essential.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you must: Have a proven track record with the retail multiples. Be comfortable working around a very innovative product sector. Have a thorough understanding of category management to drive commercial results. Be dynamic and have a great can-do attitude. Strong commercial aptitude Available for international travel
Salary / Package:
Basic of £50k - £60k DOE, £6k car allowance, 15% bonus, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 5% matched pension (rising to 8% after 5 years), death in service, family health care, £400 per year gym contribution, critical illness and income protection, phone and laptop.
The successful candidate will go through a two stage interview process which may include a small task/presentation.
