We’re super busy and the time has come to recruit another consultant to join the Sarah West Recruitment team. This is a new role adding to our existing team. With all of our clients growing, and Exeter booming, and given we're the chosen/exclusive recruitment partner of many companies locally - it's an understatement to say we’re busy. This role would be working within our growing ‘Office Division.’
Most of our vacancies get phoned in and so the role is largely client and candidate relationship management and managing the recruitment process - but some proactive sales will be required and you need to be able to demonstrate previous experience in telephone based sales.
After full training you’ll be responsible for running your own division managing the permanent placement of candidates into prime jobs in the Exeter/surrounding area. Your role will be a mix of building and maintaining client and work seeker relationships, managing the recruitment process, giving support and guidance to all parties and ensuring that ultimately the right people get hired into the right jobs and the related administration around that process. Whilst you’ll mostly be based in our lovely offices at Darts Farm you’ll also need to attend meetings off site, here and there – so you’ll need to be able to drive. As recruiter your role also touches on marketing/advertising, being involved in events, networking and many other things. You need to be the master of managing a busy workload and have the priority to continually prioritise.
It's very different working here than in the 'High Street' agencies - it's much more relaxed. We have a few targets but our main focus is doing a good job, maintaining our reputation for excellence, and enjoying/being proud of our work! Our focus here is very much about quality.
Would love someone with experience to join us, equally for the right person we could train.
Predominantly we’re looking for a ‘people person’ who has a proven track record in client relationship management within a sales environment. Must be able to demonstrate sales ability and the ability to coordinate a big workload with conflicting priorities. Must be IT literate, have good command of the English language, professional, smart, highly organised, the desire to always do a great job, high standards – and a good sense of humour.
You'd have the pleasure of working in a great office with a fun, happy, team and being based at Darts Farm. There will be a competitive basic salary and generous commission that rewards personal and team performance and benefits include weekly team lunch, team ‘fun’ budget, healthcare, ‘dress down Friday’ being involved in regular charity work...amongst other things.
