I am looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of 5/6 account managers for a Veterinary Pharmaceutical company in their Farm Animal division.
You will plan and organise the sales activities across the UK and Ireland through management of the Territory managers, driving the company's sales objectives and overall commercial strategy. The role will include:
Ensuring the sales team are developing customer partnerships by selling products and services adapted to the customer's needs.
Motivating, coaching and mentoring the sales team within the framework of the Company's sales excellence programme and technical requirements.
Manage the performance of individuals, ensuring regular feedback and assessment is provided by monthly field coaching visits utilising the Company's HR and management tools.
There is also an element of Key Account Management, where you will need to manage the relationships and maximise the business opportunities for the Key Account clinics within the region; facilitating meetings in-line with Key Account plans and providing regular progress reports.
Management experience of a Field Sales Team - my client is looking for a candidates with excellent leadership skills who can hit the ground running.
Sales & Management experience in the Large Animal/Live Stock/ Agricultural market.
Location - This is a National role, location is flexible but you must be willing to travel across the UK.
