Following £multi-million investment in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, our client is presently looking to appoint a proven Health, Safety, Quality & Environment professional.
The appointed SHEQ Manager will assume responsibility for:
Implementing and delivering a robust SHEQ Management System
Promoting best practices across the business relating to health & safety, quality assurance and environmental compliance
Implementing initiatives to improve site health & safety
Effective identification and management of risk
Carrying out accident investigations
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
A track record of health, safety, quality & environment advising/management
Experience gained within engineering or heavy manufacturing environments
Proven quality auditing experience
Comprehensive knowledge of health & safety compliance and statutory requirements
The ability to think fast and make important decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
