Technical System Technologist-Technical Assistant
A leading British dairy company, processing and selling market leading branded dairy products and ingredients for the UK and global markets, is seeking a pro-active graduate to work with within the Group Technical and Compliance team in the role of Technical Systems Technologist.
In the role you will be responsible for supporting the management and development of group quality systems including:- compliance reporting, group quality management, development due diligence, consumer care technical support and creation of technical training material
Nature & Scope of the Job
  • Analysing data to complete technical and compliance KPI reporting
  • First technical point of contact for the consumer care team, maintaining reference material and trending data
  • To support the use and development of the quality management software system
  • Maintaining the Group Quality Management System documents and records
  • Using retailer web based systems for specification writing and management
  • Compile technical and compliance training material for the wider business
  • To deputize for Technical Systems Manager as required
Is this You?
  • Excellent IT skills. Ability to use different software systems and adept with Microsoft Office programmes, in particular excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level accuracy and analytical thinking skills with a right first time approach.
  • Proactive and motivated to make a difference, with the ability to prioritise own workload and work to time deadlines.
  • Confidence to deliver training to teams around the business.
  • Ideally a newly qualified graduate (Food Technology, Science or Maths based) or a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths with at least 2 years experience in a similar role in the food industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels both inside and outside the business.
