Farmers Guardian App
Immerse yourself in our digital, interactive version of Farmers Guardian
Our app edition is included with a VIP+ or VIP Digital subscription. You can keep up-to-date with the wider industry whenever, wherever. The app edition includes all the news, articles and Classifieds from the print version, plus exclusive interactive features. This is great for when you’re out-and-about, at shows, or just fancy an early look at Farmers Guardian before anyone else.
Each week’s issue is uploaded automatically to your smartphone or tablet on Thursday at 5.00pm – so you’ll have access to the editorial content and Classifieds before the paper’s official Friday release.
How do I download the app to my device?
Logging In
- Download and install the app.
- Click open once your app has finished downloading.
- You will then be presented with a login page asking for your email address and a password. Your login details are the same as on www.FGinsight.com. As long as you have an active subscription you will be granted access. If you can't remember your password don't worry. you can reset this by visiting www.fginsight.com/passwordreminder
Live News
- You can create a personalised news feed based on the topics that are of interest to you. These are updated daily so your news feed will always have the latest stories from Farmers Guardian.
- You can customise which topics you would like to see by clicking the big red button in the middle and adding or removing topics. Topics you follow will be at the top and topics you dont follow will be underneath with a plus icon next to them which lets you add them.
- You can also choose which order you would like to see them in by holding your finger on the name and dragging and dropping into position.
Digital Magazines
- Along the bottom menu, you will see an option for Magazine, this is where you will find the latest copies of Farmers Guardian, Arable Farming and Dairy Farmer magazines.
- You can also view past editions of Farmers Guardian and download the latest copy every week from Thursday afternoon.
- Navigate through the pages with a simple swipe, zoom in and out, bookmark your favourite articles or ones you have only partly read to come back to later.
My Content
- You can bookmark articles from your newsfeed or pages from the magazine. Once bookmarked they will appear in the 'My Content' area for you to read later.
- You can also access your downloads here so if you download the latest Farmers Guardian at home on the WiFi you can then access it here to read anywhere, even when offline.
Settings
- Manage your data usage by choosing to allow downloads on WiFi or mobile data.
- Access help screens that explain how the app works.
- Contact our technical support team if you are experiencing any problems and need help.
