A great new support network has been launched by the Farmers Guardian for young farmers and new entrants trying to pursue a successful career in agriculture.
The Getting Started initiative – which will appear every week in the newspaper - aims to support agriculture’s next generation by tackling the key issues affecting young farmers trying to build a business, new entrants trying to get a foot on the ladder and those wishing to pursue a career in the sector.
Following conversation with young farmers to determine what they want to read more about, Farmers Guardian will be offering increased practical advice on a host of business issues, sharing motivational case studies and offering take home solutions to improve careers, businesses and personal skills.
It will also showcase the huge pool of talent within the industry profiling progressive young farmers and breeders building up their business while still including the latest news from YFC clubs and equipping agricultural students with the knowledge and inspiration to continue their careers within the industry.
The content will be further supported by www.fginsight.com where there is an extensive number of articles and guides designed to help young farmers and new entrants develop interpersonal and professional skills.
Why not get involved with Getting Started by joining in on Twitter and Facebook? We also have features, YFC news and "how to" guides online and are always looking to speak to you about your farming journey.
