£1,000 bursary available to Welsh Young Farmers

The Wales YFC agricultural bursary is now open for applications.

£1,000 is up to grabs for any Welsh Young Farmer between the age of 16 and 30
£1,000 is up to grabs for any Welsh Young Farmer between the age of 16 and 30

Young Farmers across Wales are being urged to apply for the Wales YFC agricultural bursary.

 

In association with the Worshipful Livery Company of Wales, the fund is open to any Welsh Young Farmer aged between 16 and 30.

 

Prize

 

The £1,000 prize can be put towards a new or existing agricultural venture.

 

Wales YFC rural affairs chairman, Carys Vaughan said: "Wales YFC members are well known for being enterprising, hardworking individuals and we now call upon those members who have started their own venture to come forward and enter this exciting competition.”

 

Business support

 

To further their progress in business, each applicant will be eligible for one-to-one business support to help take their business to the next level.
