20 photos to celebrate National Countryside Week

From July 18 to Sunday 24, The Prince’s Countryside Fund is celebrating National Countryside Week. In support, we’ve pulled together some of our best photographs that capture the wonderful British countryside.

There isn’t often a much better scene than one of the Great British countryside and this week, in support of #NationalCountrysideWeek launched by the Prince’s Countryside Fund, we are helping to celebrate by rounding up our favourite photographs.

The annual awareness week aims to highlight the value of our countryside by:

  • Shedding light on issues such as food security, sustaining family farms and supporting local producers and British produce
  • Encouraging people to get together and celebrate the countryside by having a picnic
  • Draw attention the important role the countryside plays in our lives

To take part, tweet your pictures using the hashtag #NationalCountrysideWeek
