4,200gns ceiling for Dolgellau Welsh Blacks

WELSH Black cattle went under the hammer at Dolgellau, peaking at 4,200gns for an April 2015-born bull from D.E. Rowbotham, Ceredigion.

4,200gns ceiling for Dolgellau Welsh Blacks

WELSH Black cattle went under the hammer at Dolgellau, peaking at 4,200gns for an April 2015-born bull from D.E. Rowbotham, Ceredigion.

 

Penwernhir Adda 4, a son of Nantrhys Adda out of Penwernhir Jean, sold to J.G. Davies, Talsarnau.

 

At 3,200gns was the pre-sale champion Rhydygarnedd Nathan, from E.L.I., M. and R.H.T. Williams, Gwynedd.

 

Born in January 2015, it is out Rhydygarnedd Nerys 100 and by Gwern-Cynyddion Nathan 22. The buyer was G. Roberts, Bala.

 

At 1,450gns was the top priced female, Foty Branwen Haf from Bini Jones, Llan Ffestiniog. August 2014-born and by Gerddi-Bluog Addewid 4, it is out of Foty Rosyn and sold in-calf to an Aberdeen-Angus bull to Mr Thomas, Oswestry.
