Running in memory of his father, Joss Naylor MBE is set to run from Caldbeck to Wasdale in the Lake District, raising money for the Brathay Trust.

Mr Naylor has lived and breathed the upland hill farming life since he was a child, and followed his father’s footsteps in becoming a hill farming shepherd.

But as well as farming, Mr Naylor has a love of fell running and this weekend will see him run over 30 miles for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

The run will mark Mr Naylor’s 80th birthday and over £7,500 has already been donated to the cause.
