A raft of trophies were up for grabs this weekend, showcasing the talent and hard work of members. We take a look at the 2016 winners.

This recognises excellence in delivery and work of YFC trainers who deliver the curve modules, aiming to develop communication and interpersonal skills of members.


Winner: Lincolnshire FYFC

 

The NFU Trophy

The NFU Trophy

For the county federation scoring the most points in the 2014/15 national competitions programme.


Winner: Derbyshire FYFC. The trophy was collected by Kate Wainwright.

 

The Tug Wilson Trophy 

The Tug Wilson Trophy 

The reserve county federation scoring the most points in the 2014/15 national competitions programme.


Winner: Devon FYFC. The trophy was collected by Jake Henson.

 

The Worshipful Company of Farmers Trophy 

This trophy recognises the small county federation, whose membership is among the lowest 50 percent of counties in NFYFC competitions.


Winner: Derbyshire FYFC. The trophy was collected by Kate Wainwright.

 

The Merrick Burrell Trophy

This marks the county federation with the largest percentage increase in membership over the past three years.


Winner: Sussex FYFC. The trophy was collected by Daniel Harris.

 

Sussex FYFC is one of the smallest county federations in the country, with 346 members and has welcomed almost a 78 per cent increase.

 

The Prince of Wales Trophy

The Prince of Wales Trophy

This trophy is presented to the county federation raising the most money per member for a charitable cause outside of YFC.


Winner: Cornwall FYFC. The trophy was collected by William Jelbert.

 

Cornwall FYFC for raising £71.88 per member and collectively reaching £52,760.

 

The Lionel J Hill MBE Trophy 

The Lionel J Hill MBE Trophy 

This trophy is presented to the club which has raised the greatest amount of funds per member for charitable purposes over the last 12 months.

 

Winner: Okehampton YFC (Devon) The trophy was collected by John Maile.

 

Oakhampton YFC has raised an impressive £7,200 with 29 members.

The Sydney Fawcett trophy

This trophy is for the member making the best contribution to the proceedings of the Annual General Meeting.

 

Winner: Freddie Horwood, Somerset.
