Three members from Devon YFC and Somerset YFC have demonstrated tremendous strength of spirit by cycling 600 miles for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
The incredible challenge saw Joshua Fincham, 24, from Crewkerne YFC, Somerset, along with Morris Burrough, 23, and Will Dyer, 25, both from Yarcombe YFC, Devon begin the epic effort from Paris’ Eiffel Tower on May 1 to Blackpool Tower.
The boys completed the cycle in just four days and have raised £5,000, exceeding their target of £4,000.
With the slow start from Paris travelling to Caen and then Caen to Cherbourg, they are now back on English soil.
The team were inspired to raise money for cystic fibrosis by Phoebe Bardwell, granddaughter of Somerset Federations President, James Bardwell. Phoebe was born with the condition in March 2015.
They also faced their fair share of challenges including getting lost while cycling out of Paris.
Joshua, from Crewkerne YFC, said: "There were some very big hills around Gloucestershire. But we got some very good tan lines but well worth doing for a great cause."
