The hunt is on to find Britain’s best amateur bread-kneaders, cake-makers and jelly- setters, and it just might be you.
Could you be in the class of 2020? Or do you know a fantastic baker?
The search is on to find Britain’s best and show producers are keen for members of the farming community to get involved and show off their skills in the kitchen.
"We’d love to hear from the farming community!
"Who could be more passionate about food than the very people involved in producing it. We’re looking for Britain’s best amateur bakers from across the country, aged 16 (on 1/1/20) and over who love to bake.
"Everyone knows a fabulous baker, and now we want to hear from them: Whether it’s your granny or grandad, sister, brother, mum, dad or cousin - every family has a star baker in the making. Perhaps they just don’t know it yet!"
“Although it is a baking competition, whatever modicum of competitiveness there was in the tent was dwarfed by the sheer amount of positivity and joy.”
