Facing a challenge by another manufacturer over the use of the Versum name, Case IH has decided to rebrand its newly-launched 100-130hp tractor range.
As previously reported, Case IH launched the Versum tractor range back in February at the 2019 SIMA machinery show, Paris. Soon after which, however, a challenge was mounted against the manufacturer over the use of the name, which has since been changed to Vestrum.
Thankfully, the impact on the product for Case IH is minimal, with all originally launched features and specification still applicable, including the standard fitment of the firm’s CVXDrive continuously variable transmission.
And just in case you were wondering, Vestrum is Latin for ‘yours.’
